The Playdate

1. Phone Number Verification (OTP)

When a user creates an account, they are prompted to verify their phone number. The in-app screen displays:

"Enter your phone number to verify your account. By tapping Send Code, you agree to receive a one-time SMS verification code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

The user must tap "Send Code" to trigger the SMS. This is entirely user-initiated.

2. Playdate Invitations

When an app user schedules a playdate and adds a contact who is not yet on The Playdate, the app displays the following disclosure before the playdate is finalized:

"This contact is not on The Playdate. An SMS invitation with an RSVP link will be sent to their phone number. They can opt out at any time by replying STOP."

The sender must acknowledge this disclosure to proceed. Each non-app contact receives a maximum of one SMS per playdate invitation.

Opt-In

By creating an account on The Playdate and providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS verification codes from The Playdate. By scheduling a playdate and adding a non-app contact, you acknowledge that a one-time SMS invitation will be sent to that contact on your behalf.

Mobile opt-in information and consent to receive SMS messages will not be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

Opt-Out

Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once opted out, no further SMS messages will be sent to that number from The Playdate. Reply HELP for support information.

Message Frequency

• Verification: 1 message per verification request
• Playdate invitations: 1 message per playdate invitation
