Data Deletion Request

This data deletion policy applies to the Playdate Activity Planner app on Google Play, published by Streamline Technology Labs.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. When you submit a deletion request, we will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our systems within 30 days, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your account profile, email address, and phone number
  • Your children's names, ages, and interest information
  • All playdate history you created or participated in
  • Your location history and saved venues
  • Any messages or communications within the app
  • Device identifiers and push notification tokens

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or legitimate business purposes:

  • Transaction records and receipts, as required by tax and accounting regulations (typically 7 years)
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
  • Records necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes

How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:

Option 1 — In-App (Fastest)

Open The Playdate app → Settings → Account → Delete My Account. Your account and all data will be scheduled for immediate deletion.

Option 2 — Email Request

Send an email to privacy@theplaydateapp.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Confirmation & Timeline

  • You will receive an email confirmation once your request is received
  • Deletion is completed within 30 days of the verified request
  • You will receive a final confirmation email when deletion is complete
  • Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered
